As someone who has worked in both government and community service for over two decades, I’ve seen how real solutions come from leadership—not politics. I’m running for Mayor because I know what’s broken, I understand what needs fixing, and I’ve developed a comprehensive, actionable plan to get it done.

Our public safety system is under pressure:

Response times are too slow.
Good officers are leaving or burning out.
Families no longer trust that help will arrive—or arrive with respect.
And in some cases, the very people sworn to protect us are working against our communities.

That’s not acceptable—and I won’t stand by and watch it continue.

As Mayor, I will lead a transformation of public safety in Santa Fe. My plan strengthens the department from the inside out—improving recruitment, training, ethics, and neighborhood presence—while rebuilding the bridge between law enforcement and the people they serve. We’re talking about a smarter, more accountable, community-first model of policing—not more of the same.

This isn’t theory. This is a serious, detailed strategy based on proven practices from across the country and informed by what Santa Fe actually needs. I’ve spent months working with public safety experts, former officers, parents, and educators. I’ve listened to what’s working and what’s not. And I’ve developed a path forward that’s tough on crime, tough on corruption—and deeply committed to protecting our community with integrity and compassion.

Santa Fe doesn’t need another politician making promises.

Santa Fe’s Fire Department deserves not just our gratitude, but real action that strengthens their safety, protects their health, and honors their service.

My plan is clear: we will prioritize firefighter well-being through modern safety protocols, stronger protections from toxic exposure, and enhanced medical support. I am committed to ensuring that no firefighter is left behind when facing health challenges related to their service.

We will bring in best practices, secure necessary funding, and deliver the tools, training, and care our firefighters need—without delay or excuses.
