ABOUT LETITIA MONTOYA
“This city raised me, shaped me, and inspired me. My journey has always been about people, purpose, and the places that tell our stories.”
— Letitia Montoya
I’m Letitia Montoya, a proud 17th-generation Santa Fean.
My roots run deep here in New Mexico — in our culture, our history, and in the people who make this place what it is. This isn’t just where I live… this is who I am.
I was raised to believe that you don’t wait for someone else to fix things — you step up, you work hard, and you take care of your community. That’s how I live my life.
I’ve spent more than 30 years in business, finance, and operations. I’ve led teams, managed complex systems, and made decisions where accountability matters. As a former Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer, and now as Managing Partner of Nebula Advisers LLC, I’ve built my career on discipline, integrity, and results.
I want you to know this — I can sit in a boardroom and negotiate, and I can be out in the field doing the hard work. Either way, I show up, I do the job, and I don’t complain about it.
You’ll find me walking job sites, talking to people, and working alongside the community. I believe real leadership happens on the ground — not just behind a desk.
I’ve lived life. I’ve traveled, I’ve learned, and I’ve grown — and I’ve seen what brings people together. Whether it’s through food, culture, or just sitting down and listening, I believe connection is where real change begins.
I’m not afraid to ask hard questions.
I’m not afraid to speak the truth.
And I’m not afraid to do the work.
Because for me, this has never been about politics — it’s about people.
I don’t chase recognition. I earn trust.
I don’t talk about change. I build it.
I’m a workhorse, not a show horse — and I show up every day ready to prove it.
Made with Love,
Letitia Montoya 💛

My grandfather, Frank Brito, was a master santero whose sacred carvings preserved the heart of New Mexico’s Spanish Colonial tradition. Honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Spanish Market, his work is held in the Smithsonian American Art Museum and was even presented to the Vatican—a legacy of faith, culture, and craftsmanship that continues to inspire generations.
